Bison Centre Donations

Child & Family Support

Volunteers are needed to be present with the child before and after the child’s interview with RCMP. The main objectives of the Child & Family Support Volunteer is to provide comfort and emotional support to the child, and support for non-offending caregivers/family. Support may be needed at intake, during court preparation, and court accompaniment.

Facility Operations / Preparations

It is expected that at times rooms will need to be prepared, supplies obtained and readied for use. It may also be the case that if special projects come up, help will be required. Operations and preparation workers will assist in these ventures.

Fundraising

As The Bison Child & Youth Advocacy Centre continues to grow and develop, there will be fund raising & community awareness events that occur. Assistance will be required in planning, executing and hosting such events.
