VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENT

If you’ve been a victim of a crime, you have the choice to write a Victim Impact Statement. This is where you write down how the crime has impacted you emotionally and physically, and how it has affected your life and the lives of people close to you. If the accused person is found guilty, the statement will be read by the judge while they decide on a sentence.
